Visiting Cox Arboretum & Gardens

The dream of our founder, Tom Cox, was to create a place where people could connect with nature, learn, and find peace among trees from around the world. Today, we are proud to carry forward his legacy—sharing his passion for conservation, education, and a love of horticulture with our community and beyond.

We invite you to experience the gardens as a gift to all who visit. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds at no cost—walk the trails, enjoy a quiet moment by the pond, or bring a picnic and take in the beauty of the landscape.

For those interested in a deeper experience, guided tours of the gardens and our plant collection are available with one of our directors for $20 per person.

Our hours are Monday through Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
All visitors are required to reserve a time slot prior to arrival.’
